ISO: whiskey pretzel rods

I found this recipe in a newspaper in the Chicago- NW. Ind. area..... Possibly 15 years or so ago at the time of the Superbowl. I have not made it for several years and when I looked for the recipe I couldn't find it.It is made with pretzel rods..brown sugar...garlic powder and possibly melted butter. The pretzels are placed on a jelly roll pan or cookie sheet with sides. The whiskey mixture is poured over the pretzels. The pretzels are turned so that they are completely covered with the mixture. They are then baked. At what temp. and how long I do not remember. Nor do I remember the quanties used in the recipe...nor am I sure that I've listed all the ingredients. But they sure are good ...and the family has been requesting them.Hopefully someone will recognize this recipe and will be willing to share it. Thankyou
