Many thanks for the replies to my search of a cookie!
Judy in Quebec HAS IT!!!!!!! My family send their regards. Mom passed away in 2000 and no one in the family has been able to reproduce her cookie and the recipe was no where to be found. I'm sure mom sends her best as well, now this cookie can be added back to her famous Christmas cookie list!!!
