Thank you, Micha.  WOW.  That part about male and female is excellent.  I heard that eggplants can be bitter.  I hope this helps me to avoid the bitterness.

I plan on using the eggplant in a recipe later this week or weekend.  I'll let you know how it goes.

Winter has finally hit Niagara Falls. With the wind chill it was -21 C yesterday.  Can you send some warm thoughts this way?  We had an ice storm on Sunday p.m./Monday.  That took out some power in the city.
