I can't wait to try this recipe, I have been looking for a champagne cake recipe. I would get one for my birthday every year growing-up from a bakery that was in Fairfield, CA (Vallejo's neighbor). It sounds like it might be, the Bavarian cream might be the ticket. Thanks!
