Growing up with a garden we always cooked half runner beans with fat back for about two hours and put new potatoes on top and cooked until done. This was served with cornbread sliced tomatoes and cumbers from the garden. We don't have these beans in Florida. I am going to North Carolina in July and looking forward to that meal.
It sounds so good to hear that some one else enyoys the same.
Happy Times,
Claudette
