Thank You: Thanks, Betsy, re: crayon marks

Misc.

Thank you for your suggestions. I checked out the web page but removing crayon from wood floors wasn't listed -- painted wood, vinyl floors, brick, glass, ceramic, Formica, etc., were listed, and the solution was WD-40 on a soft cloth, followed by liquid dish detergent and warm water on a rag. I haven't tried that one, but I tried the toothpaste. I also saw that tip on another web site during a frantic search earlier tonight. I was amazed at how the toothpaste worked. I only had a "pasty" baking soda kind in the house, but it really worked. I will use it in sections over the weekend, but I think that's the miracle cure. It's unbelievable.

The floor is left with a pasty film at the moment, but it sure smells "minty fresh" in there -- which is quite a change, believe me. Some day this might be funny, but I still can't imagine that day arriving. I even took pictures of the damage; I figure I can "use it" some day. When I took a break from cleaning, I discovered she also had time to unload the toilet paper roll into the toilet.

It's been "a day" -- I am always so pooped on a Friday night anyway -- no pun intended. I may give a further report from the war room tomorrow. Good night.
