I love the idea of the Pineapple in your Date Roll. I will have to try it soon.
I find it so interesting how recipes seem to travel the country just with subtle differences here and there. One of our daughters lives in Minnesota and they were invited to an Open House over the holidays last year. One of the things served was Boston Clam Chowder! And the recipe used came from a Boston restaurant. So, there again: Small World!
