25 jalapenos!

Is this a really hot salsa? (We're a bit whimpy in my family.) If so, would cutting down on the number of jalapenos affect the texture of the sauce? If I wanted a mild/medium sauce how many peppers would you recommend?.....thanks for the advice....Betty Ann(Canada)
