Recipe(tried): Salsa

Salsa Recipe

16 C. tomatoes (peeled & coarsley chopped)
4 C. onions, chopped
25 green medium jalapeno peppers chopped (Wear gloves!!)
5 small green bell peppers chopped
2 1/2 C. white vinegar
3/4 C. sugar
1/2 C. salt
3 Tbs. garlic powder
1 1/2 Tbs. chili powder
2 tsp. black pepper
2 Tbs. ground cumino

Dip tomatoes in boiling water for about 1 minute and then plunge into ice water. Remove the skin and chop coarsely. Mix all the ingredients together in a large pot. Cook for 1 1/2 - 2 hours using medium heat until thickened. Stir intermittently.

Store in refrigerator.
