two books (same story but told in different manner) that i read many times recently. they are "Falling Leaves" and "Chinese Cinderella" by Adeline Yen Mah. it's her own growing up story that will blow you away... it's so sad and so unbelievable. the first time i read it, i was crying along... if you have time, give these 2 books a try.
