Another happy story

Misc.

I loved your kitty story and will add my own. We were driving through town on the main road and saw what we thought was black plastic sort of blowing across the four lanes of traffic. Just as we passed it, we realized it was a tiny kitten. We zipped right back, as did 2 other cars, and scooped up a palm sized kitten. None of the other people wanted it, so we took it to our vet because it's right front leg appeared broken. I fell in love with this furry bundle in the 2 miles to our vet, but my dog would not tolerate it, so I knew it couldn't be ours. We had the vet x-ray the 'floppy kitty', only to learn it had a broken leg and a crushed shoulder. They tried to save the leg, but eventually had to remove it. But the kitten was healthy and full of spunk. Floppy kitty was then renamed - Miracle. She is now the proud owner of a lovely older woman who helps with the humane society, giving pets a home until permanent ones are found. But Miracle has found her home in this woman's heart. She goes everywhere with her, and Miracle is carried around town in a softly lined wicker basket. She is cuddled, loved, and gets along real well with 3 legs. I'm not sure which of them is happier.
