Recipe: Mel's Moppin' Sauce (using cider vinegar, lemon, garlic and ginger)
Toppings - Sauces and Gravies
1 cup cider vinegar
5 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2/3 cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons butter
1 lemon, thinly slices, with peel on
3 garlic cloves, minced
3 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
2 tablespoons dry mustard
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and heat until flavors are nicely blended, about 15 minutes. After it cools, strain the lemon slices out.
