Misc.
Hi Pam! It just so happens that I work in Gainesville and live nearby, so I was interested to see your posts (when I saw "Gator Town" after your name I knew exactly where you were!)

DH and I like to try new restaurants whenever we have a chance and I vaguely remember hearing something about Mark's in the recent past. What part of town is it in? I guess it slipped out of my mind when I heard about the prices ; ) We probably won't be going anytime soon. But you never know, we may win the lottery this weekend, LOL!

Since my husband is not an "adventurous" eater, we generally stick to places that serve steak, seafood, barbecue, and Italian or Mexican cuisine. When I go out without him (not often!) I like to try Asian and Middle Eastern foods. Have you been to Bento in the Royal Park Plaza? It's Japanese-style food in a kinda yuppy-fied atmosphere, but pretty good. Another favorite is Chopstix on SW 13th Street ("Pan-Asian" cuisine.)

Nice to "meet" you - keep up the good posts and great recipes!
