WFD~Wednesday: Out!

Misc.
Today is Beorn's last day of school (actually school is scheduled through Monday, but we're taking him out early) and my FIL is drving up from Fort Lauderdale to stay overnight and then take Beorn for a week long visit, just the two of them. :-)

So, since FIL said he wants to try a local restaurant, we are eating out tonight. Paul and I have chosen two places, and since FIL is paying, depending on how much he wants to spend, it will be either Mark's US Prime (a new steak house about which I have heard incredible reviews) or all-you-can-eat sushi at Szechuan Panda (Beorn will most likely get either a pu-pu platter or fried rice).

I've been doing a really strict version of Atkins induction (based on the sample week menu posted on the Atkins Center site) since a week ago this past Monday, and I generally only weigh myself once a week. But, since we're going out tonight, and I know I'm not going to stay on the WOE tonight, I decided to weigh myself to see where I'm at before I do too much damage. I'm down 4 lbs. since begining the sample menu. Considering I generally loose 1/2 lb. a MONTH on any diet I've tried, this is exciting! It ALMOST makes me want to stay on the WOE, even when we go out tonight, but not quite. ;-)
