Butter or Lima Beans

Misc.

We grew up with the exact opposite description of the two. Dried Beans were
Baby lima (small) or Big Lima, and fresh, frozen, or canned(fresh as opposed to
dried before canning) were called butter beans. The butter beans I have
shelled for the paste sixty years were either green, white, or speckled. Just
goes to show, different parts of the country have different names for the same.
