Butter shortage?

Misc.

One of my dear friends read that butter prices were going to rise dramatically because of the hot, dry weather conditions that we ALL experienced this summer. I went to the Super Wal-Mart and found that their brand of butter was $2.77 a pound. Two weeks ago the same butter was $2.34. My friend was right! If you have the room in your freezer it would be a good idea to stock up on butter, cheese, ice cream. Our neighborhood store, Piggly Wiggly, has Blue Bell Ice Cream 2 half-gallon packages for $6.00, but I don't have the room in my freezer. Oh well, we don't eat that much ice cream in the fall and winter months anyway. I am planning to stock up on butter and cheese. Check the butter and cheese prices in your area. Have the prices increased?
