Yesterday, I bought a book called "Food Lover's Companion." It's a comprehensive collections of over 4,000 food, wine and culinary terms. It's GREAT!

Did you ever come across a recipe that called for an item with which you were unfamiliar? This is the book/dictionary for you. :0)

I just thought I would share this with all you fellow 'chefs' out there. It has foreign terms, pronunciations, cross references...It's by Sharon Tyler Herbst/Barron's Cooking Guide. It's a chubby paperback.
