MONNIG HOME-EC DROP BISCUITS
2 cups flour
3 tablespoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shortening or butter
1 cup milk
Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Using a pastry blender, cut in the shortening or butter until combined.
Stir in milk, stirring only long enough to mix; do not overwork. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 12 biscuits
