Misc.

Hi Lori,
I have a friend who started using Stevia. It's basically a natural sweetner that is supposed to be 200x sweeter than sugar. I read that a cup of sugar can be replaced with just 1 1/2 tsp. of Stevia. It comes in a few different forms such as powder or extract. It can be quite pricey. My friend gets her Stevia at her local health food store. She is still experimenting with it. There are cookbooks available that specifically use Stevia. You can do a websearch on Stevia and you'll find a few recipes out there.
I hope this helps some!
Take Care!
Stacy
