Chocolate Kahlua Mousse

2 dozen almond or coconut macaroons
Kahlua
1 4 oz package ladyfingers
12 eggs, room temperature and separated
1 1/2 c butter, softened
1 1/2 c powdered sugar
12 oz melted german sweet chocolate
1 c heavy cream

soak macaroon in Kahlua until saturated. gently squeeze out excess moisture. press macaroons, slightly overlapping, into the bottom of a 10 inch lightly oiled springform tube pan. line sides of pan with split ladyfingers, cut side in.
beat egg whites until stiff. set aside.
in large bowl, beat egg yolks with butter. add powdered sugar and chocolate. fold in egg whites. pour into pan. refrigerate over night. unmold and serve with Kahulua flavored, slightly sweetened whipped cream.
