Dearest Elma: What is a Jibarito sandwich? Is it a Jibaritos Envueltos?

Misc.
Maybe it is a development of a recipe based in Puerto Rican ingredients & used in the United States. There is also a kind of fritter made with potato slices stuffed with ham & cheese, covered with a "croute-empanados" & fried. That is a gateau style fritter & I do have the recipe. You can be creative in its stuffing.

Please, let me know the ingredients of the Jibarito Sandwich.

Your friend,

Gladys/PR
