Correct ~~ sort of. I do not think there are many materials that one could use to make a baby bib fire PROOF, flame retardent yes, but not fire proof. Most of the flame retardent materials need speical cleaning to keep them retardent too by the way :)

And while we are on safty i would also say that velcor is better than ties as it is less likly to tangle around babies neck and never please never leave baby to sleep with them on :)

btw i think that you can get cute oil cloth that is flame retardent. By nature isn't it one of te more flame retartdent substances? i' don't know ....
