Michele, This works on old linens, so.....

Misc.

Try a mixture of Dove dishwashing liquid and Clorox 2 Non-Chlorine Bleach--the blue box. Mix this 1/2 cup dry Clorox to 1/4 cup Dove and approx. 1 gal. hot water. (Soak your most expendable stained item first to see if this works and just give it some time.) This has brightened the most stained damask napkins, antique lace, and clothing that I thought were ready for the rag-bag. I saw this demonstrated on TV by a lady who specialized in antique linens. She said the secret is the Dove white liquid. Goodluck with baby.
