Ginger Beer Cautions

Misc.

Hi Janice,

I found some info about ginger beer and I wouldn't advise trying it. Making this sounds dangerous with a very high chance of exploding bottles. "Make this at your own risk" isn't really an instruction you want to see in a recipe!

.."If ginger beer is left in the bottles at too high a temperature or for too long the bottles will explode violently and dangerously. When handling bottles of ginger beer always wear eye protection, work gloves, and coveralls. You make this recipe at your own risk. ... regular bottles are not strong enough "...

I wouldn't want to have to wear eye protection, work gloves and coveralls every time I opened the refrigerator for fear of hurling glass, but it could be helpful when dieting!
