Oh, I realised you were talking about the beef roll-ups and the jam. I think that would be fine - maybe leave some slices of meat plain for the conservative eaters. I have a lovely easy chicken recipe using blackcurrant jelly (this is cooked chicken) and it goes together really well.
I saw in a book of mine that you could make a sweet-sour sauce for dipping little hot dogs in too.
You can also roll slices of cold cuts around a sliced pickle, put an olive on top and spear right through them all with a stick or toothpick (I need a graphics feature here, hope you understand!).
This is fun, planning the menu without having to do the work or washing up afterwards!!
