I had to post this one as well. This is so easy and somehow looks impressive, and tastes better than the recipe would indicate!
SMOKED MACKEREL (OR TROUT) PLATTER
Layer on a decorative platter:
One layer grated apple
Spread over a layer of mayonnaise
On top of that put flaked smoked mackerel (or whichever fish you like, the peppered ones are also OK)
Sprinkle slivered almonds on top.
