Ham Loaf

Don't know what your recipes are like, but those I've seen use smoked Ham. The kind you'd cook for a holiday. The smoke flavor is what makes a ham loaf tasty.
I either use leftover ham or sometimes I'll buy a small piece. I grind my own too. The better quality ham makes the best ham loaf.
