Recipe: Creamy Dill Dressing (using buttermilk and sour cream, blender)

CREAMY DILL DRESSING

1 cup buttermilk
3⁄4 cup sour cream
1⁄2 cup light mayonnaise
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
2⁄3 cup fresh dill, packed
1 tablespoon shallot, chopped
3⁄4 teaspoon kosher salt
freshly ground black pepper

Place ingredients in blender jar in order listed. Place cover on blender jar. Holding cover in place, turn blender to low for 10 seconds. Turn to medium for an additional 30 seconds until smooth.

Serve immediately, or keep in refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Makes about 3 cups
