Hi Sherry! I think all kids love tacos, you can use ground beef, or turkey..
Misc.or chicken.
The recipe for the filling is on the taco seasoning package, and while it is simmering, you can get the toppings (grated cheese, salsa, sour cream, chopped lettuce, dices tomatoes...whatever else turns your crank!)ready.
So it just takes about 20 minutes, including browning the beef. We uses soft tacos (whole wheat flour tortillas), but you can use the hard ones, if you prefer. When my boys have a friend for dinner, I often will use both...very festive, ha!
Good luck!
Carolyn!
