How about "Brunch Around the World"

Misc.

For the pot luck type thing, whether you select the recipes and hand them out
or have the attendees say 'I have the perfect recipe', you can have different
countries represented with a nice little mixture of breakfast and lunch menu
items. For example, quiche-French, some type of pasta for Italian, German
potato salad, a selection of bagels/cream cheeses/lox for Jewish, taco salad or
breakfast burritos for Mexico, Puerto Rican Rice, stuffed cabbage or pierogi
for Polish, Irish Soda Bread, etc. The sweets like apple pie, peach cobbler,
pecan pie...can be the good ol' USA. Maybe have the attendees bring something
from their ethnic heritage if you have a diversified group. We did this once
at our church and had everyone just say what ethniticity (is that the right
word?) and type (breakfast, lunch, entree, side dish, dessert, or etc.) so we
could have a nice balance. When our gourmet club did this we selected the
recipes and handed them out. Both were just wonderful!
