How about hard-boiled eggs?

Misc.

During Hurricane Season in MS, hard-boiled eggs were often among our staples. Have cereal on hand that you can eat dry - snack-like. Linda is right about the chipped beef; also, how about jerky sticks? Tuna or chicken in a can, that you can drain and put on crackers. Some places sell (regular) milk in cans, which you keep unrefrigerated with canned goods. Of course there's always PB&J on crackers. Hope these ideas help.
