Hurray For Sister Schubert, June!!
Misc.Hello June!
So nice to see that you are back home in sunny Florida! You really must get to your local Publix, they are totally after our hearts making life just a little bit easier in this hectic world of ours!
The Reser potato bag is in the fresh produce section, in the refrigerated section where they keep all those little containers of pre-cut veggies. (Imagine that, now you don't even have to cut your own veggies! What does the future hold for us, our own cooks to come home and cook for us!) The bags are big enough for a few dinners and are wonderful to sue for breakfast potatoes. Do not get the ones that by the egg department...these are far more superior in taste than those. And, the price is extremely reasonable too!
The tilapia is in the fresh meats section, the area where they have pre-packaged Chicken Cordon Bleu, stuffed flank steak, tilapia stuffed with crabmeat, salmon pinwheels stuffed with crabmeat, you get the picture...all sorts of yummy meats and fish alaready prepareds for you to pop in the oven. They are not frozen. ANd, the best part, your pans don't get dirty, pop it in the oven in the foil tray it comes in. Does it get any easier?
Now, about Sister Schubert's rolls...they are yummy aren't they? I love to use them for the holidays! You know she has a cookbook out too...Sister Schubert's Secret Bread Recipes. Awesome book!!
You and I are kindred spirits, those salads with fruits in it, be it Spinach salad with mandarins and cashews or Baby Spring Salad with berries and sunflowers seeds are luscious!! You really must try this dressing too...Naturally Fresh Classical Oriental Dressing, especially wityh Spinach salad. This is a jar, and it can be found with the refrigerated salad dressings by the salad bags in the produce section. Killer dressing!!!
Well June, let's hope that the next two months left of the hurricane season are kind to us here in Florida. About the only thing I am grateful is that the next few days will bring some much needed water to the lawn. Especially the part my Mom and I had to dig up today in preparation for new grass being delivered tomorrow. Those darn weeds that took over....aaaarrrrggghhhh!!!
Love, Gina
