I wouldn't advise it!

At the risk of ruining the whole batch, is it worth it to you. My Mama always told me there was a reason for the specific amounts in canning recipes, it was best not to tamper with them. I would advise that you take the extra time, it wouldn't really be all that bad if you can start one batch, get it going and start another batch. All depends on the space you have available. Canning is like cakes, the ingredient amounts and mix are very precise. I don't like to take chances on wasting all those ingredients and my time! Good luck.
