Is this any help?

Misc.

Sheri, I found a recipe for "Latvian Piragi, the Latvian version of pirogi". It is described as a robust hors d'oeuvres. I don't know if this is what you are looking for or not. It is in the Best Bread Machine Cookbook Ever, Ethnic Breads. by Madge Rosenberg. I haven't tried it but the recipe includes a dough and a filling. If you think that's it, let me know. This book has a lot of good recipes, so you may want to check your library or bookstore.
