Isn't anyone having a party?

I am always looking for new entertaining ideas and I keep checking to
see if anyone is posting anything new and NOTHING! I want to have a
luncheon (or coffee) for the ladies in my neighborhood and I need
some ideas (and some motivation!) We have some new people, plus it
seems like once the kids are out of school everyone is too busy to
just stop by and visit. (Maybe I will wait a few weeks and have a
"Thank God the Kids are Back to School" luncheon!)
If any of you have tried any new entertaining ideas or have been to
any fun outings lately, please share (not just luncheon or coffee ideas
but any fun ideas) I need to invite several couples over soon and I
would love your input. When the weather is nice here in Oregon we
have to take advantage of it!
