June, I bought the paste at Trader Joes

Misc.
It's under their label. What I like about it is you can see the seeds in it. It's very flavorful. 1 teaspoon is equivalent to 1 teaspoon of extract. 1 Tablespoon is equivalent to 1 1/2 inches of vanilla bean. I use it in my biscotti, it really makes a difference in the taste. Alas, my oven is broken at the moment so the biscotti tin is sitting on the counter empty! A state it is almost never in. Summer is approaching so I'm running out of oven time anyway, but we need to get it fixed as Easter dinner guests are also approaching! It will be an Easter dinner with LOTS of sides around a smallish ham I think. The asparagus has been gorgeous lately, so I'm sure it will be gracing the table along with other dishes. Thinking I will try several of the different deviled egg recipes. Some filled with hummus, some with tofu, along with the standard type for my non-adventurous family members and friends.-Micha
