Hi Kathy;
Would it be possible to make some of the cakes, unmold them when they are cool and then use the cups again to make the rest?
I've never made these cakes so I don't know if that will work or not. Are they perhaps meant to be eaten right from the cups? I guess not if you are asking about muffin cups.
It would seem that the cakes would not be as high with muffin cups as they would with custard or souffle cups.
