Misc.
Hi Again Lori - Cape May is at the most southeastern tip of New Jersey. We're about an hour and a half northwest of there but visit Cape May and other Jersey beach areas often.

Yes, I have Mrs. Sigg's Peanut Butter Cookie recipe but haven't yet tried it. Was about to but made Joey's PB cookies because of the rave reviews. I will try her PB recipe next. Then I think the only one left to try is her spicey oatmeal raisin cookie. My DH isn't too fond of spicey things (other than cinnamon) but I will eventually make them for my dad. By the way, our tastes are all different (thank heavens) so I'll mention one thing on Mrs. Sigg's snickerdoodles. I love cinnamon but I thought the sugar/cinnamon ratio that you roll the cookies in was heavy on the cinnamon (2 TBSP sugar - 2 tsp cinn) although it seems to be standard for most snickerdoodles. I now use 3 TBSP sugar to the 2 tsp cinn since I always needed just a little more sugar anyway - that's just right for me.

Like you, I love to bake. For me, it's cookies and cakes but always enjoy making muffins and quick breads too. I do enjoy other cooking as long as it's quick and easy and looks like you spent all day with it - LOL! The women who post on What's for Dinner do inspire me and I've never been sorry on any recipe I've tried (but always the easier ones). One day I may even get up enough nerve to post our dinner!
