Hi Lori, I live in Salem County, the most southwestern county in the state - a lovely mix of rural areas and small towns.

If you enjoy Snickerdoodles, you should try Beth's recipe too - again she mixes shortening with the butter and if baked correctly you end up with a delightful cookie with crispy edges and chewy centers. So many people tend to leave the cookies in the oven just a little too long. I've been working my way through all her cookie recipes.

I have enjoyed many of the recipes you posted for muffins, again written some time ago. Thank you!
