Misc. The village we lived in referred to this as tava, although it was cooked clay dishes in the oven. In other parts of Turkey we travelled, we never found anything referred to as tava.
In the village it could be chicken, beef or shrimp tava. It was based with tomatoes had peppers, meat etc. I can never get it to taste just right. If you have any recipe that sounds close but is named differently, please post it. Thanks for responding!!!!
