Milk Protein Allergy

My son has recently been diagnosed with Milk Protein Allergy. I have purchased a cook book called Calciyum with some wonderful dairy-free, calcium-rich recipies. I am looking for some suggestions/advice/personal experience in regards to changing our diets to accommodate the special needs. He is 8 years old and loves his pizza and lasagna and all the other stuff that we now need to eliminate, so this isn't the easiest task!
