More spaghetti sauce

Misc.
Here is mine:
Chop one big onion and two-three cloves of garlic. Sautee them slowly in olive oil with a pinch of thyme. When light golden, add sliced cellery sticks - maybe two - and two grinded carrots. Let simmer and maybe get some colour. Add half a cup of water, a can of tomatoes, chopped red bell peppers, a bay leaf, a pinch of oregano and two cubes of bullion. Let simmer for a long time.
Taste - you may need a teaspoon of sugar, a teaspoon of worshestershiresauce or some other tasty ,spicy sauce, maybe 20 drops of tabasco, or a leftover dash of red wine - who knows what leftovers you have. Maybe you would like more tomato-taste - add some tomato-puree. If you have mushrooms, add them.
If you want meat in the sauce, brown some ground beef and add befor the long simmering. Or add chopped hotdogs or almost any other meats - I often use leftovers. Our favorite are small meatballs and small hot-dogs at the same time.

The point is to sautee the onions with the thyme, and add oregano with the tomato.
