My collection of mugs is huge! (more)

Misc.

Burgundy, I have never had a cup of coffee in my life. Coming from a long line of coffee drinkers, this is simply amazing! My husband goes to the local Tom Thumb every morning to get his coffee "fix." He only wants one cup a day so he decided that it would be better for him to go and buy it then to make only one cup. His HAS to be perked, no instant coffee for him!

I do, however, have scadoodles (a made up Debbie word!) of mugs. I have one for every holiday that kids enjoy--Halloween, St. Patrick's Day, Thanksgiving, Valentine's Day, Christmas, Easter. I have teacher mugs, summer mugs, alumni mugs, etc. Every time that my family goes anywhere that I don't they bring me back a mug and a cookbook! When Kristin went on her senior trip she brought back two mugs for me. One of these mugs was from the Smithsonian and had a woman on it with the words "WE CAN DO IT." The other mug was from Niagara Falls.

I drink Diet Coke constantly and I always have it in a mug at school. The kids love to see what mug I'll be drinking out of daily!

My favorite mug is one that Kristin bought for me when she was little and gave to me on Mother's Day. It's the mug that I reach for when I want a little reassurance. Of course my drink of choice is Caffeine-Free Diet Coke!

Happy Wednesday!
