My Wal-Mart Shopping Experience

Misc.

Super Wal-Mart Palm Bay, FL
I use bottled drinking water to mix infant formula. Winn Dixie: .68/gal
WM: 2 gal/$1. This adds up, since we have twins. The Dry Bottoms brand
of diapers are just as good as Pampers with considerable savings. I haven't
had any problems with night leakage. 4 cans Enfamil, 2 boxes infant cereal,
1 can Welch's white grape juice: WD: $43 WM: $38
If you go late in the morning you can find the fresh-that-day donuts reduced
up to 70%.
Shop for meat in the evening between 8-9. They reduce prices often by $1/lb.
on red meat. Chicken 1/4's in 10lb. bags are normally .39/lb
I haven't been pleased with any produce. The prices seem lower, but the spoilage rate is higher. Not much savings if it rots before you can use it.
The seafood is priced right. Catfish nutgets normally run $1.28/lb, less than what I normally spend on bait! Snow crab legs are a great bargain & they'll steam them for you free.
Grands biscuits are .98 for the 8-count can.
They accept food stamps & W.I.C.
The price per oz. is posted on the shelf. Sometimes a name brand is cheaper than the store brand, especially for cheese.
I hope I helped someone save their hard-earned money.
