RENEE PAYSON, AZ re Walmart

Misc.

Hi Renee, I am sure you will enjoy the Super Wal-Mart as much as we do. I never heard of Wal-Mart until I moved to Ga. 2yrs ago. We did not have them where I lived in NJ. When we first moved there was a "regular" small Walmart. The Super one is fantastic. If I can not find something there I will not find it anywhere. Ours has a wonderful grocery dept. They also carry a great selection of clothes and the prices are great. My two daughters are in college in NJ and have to shop by "designer" only. They would not hear of going to Walmart. Well, when I would go to Jersey or they came home for holidays, and complimented me on something I was wearing, I was happy to say it came from Wal-mart. Now they have no problem wearing a Wal-Mart product. I call my husband the "King of Walmart" All the workers in Lay a Way know him on a first name basis! If we do not shop there are closest Mall is a hour from the mountain. Our Wal-Mart honors all other local grocery/store prices. You can bring the sale flyers from the other supermarkets or K-mart and they honor the price. They are also great about returns with or with out receipt. Our store is open 24 hrs a day. They greatly discount prices in the wee hours of the morning, as they are restocking their shelves. We have gotten alot of bargains this way. The feelings you expressed re the mom and pop stores is unfortunatly true. My husband was raised here and he has seen many stores close. The one positive thing is that Wal-mart tries to carry as many items as possible made in the USA.
Happy Shopping!
