Nana Lee, the dark chocolate raspberry cake sounds really good!

I'm making a Chocolate Layer Cake (click here) using tofu for the shortening in the cake and frosting using a recipe from the January issue of Vegetarian Times and a Lemonade Angel Dessert (click here) using torn up angel food cake and lemonade for a dinner party tomorrow afternoon. Yesterday we went to town and visited Bookman's where you can find magazines for half-price or less. I snagged a January 06 Veggie Times($2.00), January and Feb 06 Food and Wines ($2.25 & $2.00), January 06 Bon Appetit($2.00), February 06 Saveur ($2.50) along with an older copy of Herb Companion which had an article on herbaceous borders I am interested in. Quite the haul!
