Oh hi dear Judy: How good to hear from you!

I am so excited with my book. Thanks for it dear friend! Today I baked the Carrot Bran Muffins and they were delicious. I freezed a batch of already baked muffins and I ate 4 of them. The remaining two were for Carmen (my neighbor) and she loved them.

How is your mother? I hope improving or at least, well under the circumstances. I think of you very much and pray for the health of your family and yours.

I liked all the tourtiere recipes that I saw. They had the advantage that it can be prepared with all kinds of meat. Of course, in Puerto Rico we would select pork, but round steak is alright as long as you cook it properly (it is a tough cut of meat).
