Pasta Gorgonzola with Porchini and Walnuts....

Misc.

I can't believe how the time is just getting away from me... This weekend my parents are coming to visit the new brownstone since we first bought here in April... so tonight we are going to go out and get the perfect 7 foot tree to adorn the front bay windows... and hopefully they will help us decorate it on the weekend... and maybe they won't notice all the things that need to be done otherwise!!!

Since we're going out to get the tree tonight we will be having Pasta served in a creamy Gorgonzola sauce with Madeira soaked Porchini mushrooms and topped off with chopped shelled Walnuts. A favorite of ours during the cold months... extremely flavorful and definately decadent... Served with a simple salad of greens and a light sort of vinaigrette... and for dessert my killer Oatmeal doodle cookies with dried blueberries and dried strawberries... very chewy and dangerously good... one is really never enough....

Hope ya'll are enjoying the holidays... they come so fast and leave so quickly!!
