Possible reason for your bread splitting apart, Michael, Akron

Hi Michael:-) This is only a guess but could it be that your oven temperature isn't hot enough? You may want to consider an oven thermometer to check to see is the thermostat is calibrated correctly. If not, an oven technician or repair person should be able to calibrate it for you. One other idea would be to try a different recipe or recipes. Other people may have some other suggestions for you, too. Good luck with your future loaves, Michael!
