Prickly Pear Cactus pads

Misc.

Does anyone know how to clean prickly pear cactus pads for cooking. They have
horrible little stickers. And how do you cook them? I see them in the
supermarket minus the stickers but don't know what to do with them. Any help
would be appreciated. Thanks
